It is so important to take time to slow alllll the way down and come back to yourself. 

Resting does not mean you are quitting; it means you are restoring yourself, integrating, finding lost parts of you, understanding your why and gathering strength for the next part of your journey. 

Since the end of October and the last two months of 2020 there was a huge energetic shut down and breakdown for many- it was as though life and everything in it could no longer keep going, you couldn’t be doing it anymore and it needed to be put on pause. 

This too was protection as everyone’s life was turned inside out last year and the pressure, stress and shadows kept building and building, especially into the last few months of the year leading into January… it all had to give way and the dam had to break. 

Everything had to break internally and externally so that you could break open fully. 

December and January were very dark for many as the dark night of the soul dragged them through the valleys and showed them their deepest healing of all… the amount of growth that has taken place in the past two months was years of rapid acceleration. 

2020 was a year of shadows for many and lightworkers were hit really hard during this year. 

Yes it was a year of extreme growth and rapid acceleration for them as well but they had no idea just how busy they were going to be, even though they had been preparing for this moment for years. 

Not only were they serving, healing, awakening and bringing souls to the light 1:1 but also collectively and holding space for this. 

They were holding so much space and doing so much work for others last year that they lost a lot of themselves in the process and forgot about themselves, what mattered and even lost the fire internally as they were beyond burnout. 

Lightworkers hold and pour vast amounts of energy into others and in return need to pour that back into themselves tenfold, and need others around them to do that for them as well. 

I’ve heard all year lightworkers needing the rest but couldn’t take the time off because so many souls were being called to them, hearing the stories of their fire coming back but leaving just as fast, fast, the stories of not feeling like themselves, not connecting to anything they loved or even feeling as though no one could relate and understand what they were experiencing and feeling detached from their purpose. 

Spirit knew the older workers who have been in this game for a while needed a break and pulled the breaks at the end of the year so they could get the break they deeply needed, and while they were resting and integrating and getting dragged by the shadows to course correct and love deeply, the holidays stepped in to give the world the break they too needed. 

Over the past few months the lessons have been pouring in and all that was lost is slowly being restored and the pieces are coming back together again just rearranged differently and better. 

There is a deeper feeling of connection to purpose and spirit that has been restored. 

A reconnection to self and to the heart as it has been restored and broken fully open. 

A deeper understanding of what really matters and what you want in your life. 

Most of all there is a deeper sense of coming back to your roots, to yourself, to what feels like home and coming back home to your heart.
