This Mercury Rx had to do all with the Mind along with all of the other Mercury retrogrades we will experience this year. 

Mercury will stay in the shadows for another two weeks. 

This Mercury Rx began with a conjunction to asteroid Damocles. 

The story goes: Damocles and the King switched places and as they did so the King hung a sword above the throne, by a single hair of a horse’s tail (meaning the sword can fall at any time).

The King created many cruelties and enemies in his rise to power. 

The sword represented to always watch in fear and anxiety of the dangers of what could overtake you as you come into power and hold the throne. 

Often times when we come into a higher level within ourselves/life, things are going great with promotions, more money coming in, relationship with the divine counterpart is great and you two are getting closer etc. there is a stress of the sword hanging over your head of not knowing when it’s going to fall and everything is going to fall apart for the worse (Some call it when the shoes going to drop).

We often fear the thing we want most so instead of allowing ourselves to have it we create self sabotage in whatever way, shape or form- for protection. 

The ego went through a reality check, rude awakening, deep healing, and awakening all in one during this Rx to show you just how the ego pushes away the thing you want most. 

We were able to go deeper into the psyche with this Rx to see where the original root begin in the family of origin and see how that still controls how we move in our daily life and pull it out by the root and rewrite the story. 

Mercury in Aquarius helped us to see the unhealthy patterns within the mind and heal them, understand how we have overthought things and created issues due to fear or insecurities, see where actions and words were not aligning, see where we were overreacting, see where we need to take responsibility and accountability for our actions, see where we our own worst enemy at times, discover higher levels of thinking, awaken to connecting deeper with ourselves, understand union on a deeper level as coming into union with self. 

Aquarius understands and embodies union fully as it is the only sign to pour out water (knowledge + love). In order to fully do this it moves through many lessons to gain the wisdom and insight to fully pour out love on the deepest level to awaken and activate all. 

This Mercury Rx in Aquarius was showing us exactly how we stray further away from God and all the gifts God bestows upon us due to fear, shame, guilt, trauma etc. 

We are one with God. 

We are not our trauma. 

We are not our pain.

 We are the highest expression of God. 

We often don’t think we are worthy of the very thing we want/desire most whether it is success, recognition, love, freedom etc. 

Only once we allow ourselves to open our hearts fully can we allow the healing waters of Aquarius to flow through us. 

We will have no planets retrograde moving forward until April 27th, so if you are looking to get your life back on track, take a chance, travel, launch a project, get into a relationship, look for a new home etc. with no resistance or obstacles now is the time.
