Today we close out a long 18 month cycle of the Nodes in Cancer and Capricorn which helped us to dive deep into our childhood wounds, issues, struggles, insecurities and healing our relationships with the mother and father archetype. ⠀

This was not an easy cycle but it was necessary as we can see how deeply the foundation (mother and father) in the home played a role in every space within our life from how we think to how we live. ⠀

Without the father in the home we can see how it truly hurt our relationship around love, around stability, consistency and feeling secure (roots) in life. ⠀

We can see without having the father around we never knew what a whole union looked like, that something was missing in love and within ourselves, we would struggle with abandonment and not feeling worthy of a partner around/allowing them in, not knowing how to be a man or how a man should treat a woman, fear of rejection, chase after emotionally unavailable men, and even allow wrongful behavior to keep someone around.⠀

In these spaces we learned to deny ourselves, to give up our bodies, minds and standards to keep up with society norms or to keep someone around.⠀

Without having the father in the home it created space for men to not know themselves, to be stable, to feel abandonment, to have built up anger, to to fear building in fear of it not lasting, to be raised (seek guidance) in the streets, to feel unworthy, to not have strong roots etc. ⠀

The father (South Node in Capricorn) was helping us to release the past karma around the masculine energy so that we could move into something more solid, healthy, whole and a strong foundation. ⠀

Capricorn is about discipline, foundation, loyalty, time and patience.

In this space we have been able to pull out and clear the roots of pain around the masculine energy, instability, absence, inconsistency and insecurity and instead build something strong in the foundation around discipline, commitment, hard work, honor and integrity that will last lifetimes to come. ⠀

We not only have been able to create a strong foundation in the root (the father/Capricorn) around relationships but also in love, career and mindset.

We know that in order to build something long term we must also balance the feminine.

 

In this space we have seen a rise in the goddess energy, women healing themselves and healing their relationship with self love, their body, and their wound around the mother. 

The mother (cancer) is the first representation of this world, of creation and when we struggle with the mother around emotionally unavailability, manipulation, insecurity, body image, no trust etc it teaches us that we can not trust ourselves, our thoughts, intuition, and what we are birthing into our lives. 

We have learned to take back our power and have compassion for ourselves and where we are at in our lives, open our hearts up to love again and to ourselves, to heal, to be gentle and to find strength in the cycles of death and rebirth. 

We understand that many of our cycles in life are due to our upbringing and that it is our duty to unpack them, to heal them and to release them so that we do not keep creating that same cycle. 

As we healed a big chunk of our childhood core wounds and roots we also healed the karma from our ancestors and gave ourselves an opportunity to be set free to create the life we truly want and to give the child within us a real chance at life. 

As we move forward we now bring in more balance around the masculine and feminine and allow ourselves to create a more healthy, stronger and heart centered foundation in all that we do which will serve us for generations to come.
