Solstice marks the longest night of the year and the return (rebirth) of the Sun coming back to the Northern Hemisphere.
This is the changing of the seasons when the darkness starts to transform into light again and we/earth is reborn!
In the story of the stars the three wise men (Orion’s Belt) followed the brightest star to Bethlehem (the Virgin, Isis, Sirius) to the Sun of God (the Sun) which lies beneath the constellation Crux (looks like a cross) who died on the cross and rose again in three days.
The Sun seems to standstill the three day’s from solstice until (Christmas) before fully returning and being birthed (Christ’s birth- the Sun (Son) of God).
This story shows us that through the stories we learn the stars and just what they hold. (The answers and messages)
Through darkness and purity we are birthed again into light.
The earths soils are deep and dark and so is the mother’s womb; to hold life we must hold death, to hold light we must hold darkness.
We live in a universe full of duality and in this we learn balance.
Honor the blessings that the darkness has brought you as it is through the darkness that something is always birthed.
Honor the cycles we move through as you have already moved through the deepest darkest parts this year.
Scorpio season closed up the darkness, the shadows and the lessons- along with the wrap up of Autum(n).
It is in this season that we close up the karma and the darkness and move back into the light (fire) of Sagittarius season and begin once again in Winter Solstice- when the light is rebirthed and so are we.
Winter is often depicted as a space of death but that is Fall and winter is when the seeds take root and build beneath the surface and slowly being to sprout for Spring to fully bloom.
Now is the time to honor the seeds and plant them deeply and tend to the new garden you are birthing as you have a whole new year and six month cycle at hand.
You can rebirth your body, your mind, your soul, your heart, your relationships, your habits, mindset/behaviors and most of all your life right now.
With the Sun now in Capricorn we are birthing in a new season of structure, discipline and focus to build off of.
Capricorn is known as the sea-goat as it is mutable in action of flowing in water (change + prosperity) and earth (grounding in and nurturing/birthing).
While these days are to honor rest we use them to rebuild our strength, focus and see what we truly want.
Take a step back and get a birds eye view of your life to see where you want to go, what you want to build moving forward, get clear on what you want and where you are heading and how and just what you have learned along the way.
Honor the slowing down process before speeding back up.
