Venus moves from indecisive Gemini to emotional Cancer.

Cancer is ruled by the Moon and is the symbol of the crab  ruling the chest, womb and stomach.

With Venus in Cancer emotions will be amplified and the need to feel safe in order to express itself and expand its heart – once it does not feel safe it will retreat into its shell or even attack with its claws.

Cancer is the mother in astrology and teaches us unconditional love, but most of all how to stay there and be there through all the ups and downs of the relationship and in life.

She isn’t going anywhere and that is what makes her safe.

She teaches us how to protect and fight for what we love and how to go deeper in love when things may not look the prettiest.

With Venus in Cancer we will be learning how to embody this very thing and also go deeper into the waters of our emotions and hearts as it is ever flowing.

There are deep mother and womb wounds that we have as a collective that will be coming up asking to be healed.

For the Masculine: Where do you hold the mother wound of not being heard, loved, seen, nurtured or cared for? Where were other people always chosen over you? Where do you need to cut the cord between you and your mother? Where do you need to let go of your mother to be with your queen? Where are you holding resentment towards your mother and placing it on others? Where are you still seeking validation and approval from your mother?

For the Feminine: Where are you upset with your mother for not protecting you? Where are you hurt because your mother couldn’t hold space for you in a nurturing way? Where do you resent your mother for manipulating and taking your power away? Where do you feel not chosen? Where do you store old ancestral stories in your womb? Where do you store ancestral stories in your relationships that need to be broken? Where do you feel you were not loved?

Our wounds in relationships always come back to our childhood but most of all our mother.

Check in with your story and heal it.

Allow yourself to dive deeper into your heart and listen to what your heart truly wants and desires.

What story do you want to live in your heart?

Where do you block your heart?

Where do others open up and want to love you so deeply and you push them away?

Where do you keep people at an arms distance because it feels safe or protected?

Where do you cut people off before you could get hurt?

Love is about understanding and growing together.

Let yourself dive deeper into your heart and into your relationships.

Let your heart live on your sleeve and let your heart be open.

Let yourself take a chance on love and most of all the healing and expansion that it will bring you.

We do our most deepest shadow work in relationships and this is often where we run away because we fear doing the work on ourselves or even worse that someone may not love us in our darkness…. but it is the darkness that the other person truly loves- because that is where they see all of you.

Let yourself be seen and loved in all of your mess. Love is messy. Love deeply. Let love awaken you!
