After 4 long months of Venus in Gemini we now have this light hearted energy as Venus flows through watery Cancer until September 7th.
We have had a few weeks to adjust from the harsh, frustrating energy of Venus in Gemini; although it did teach us a lot- we all feel better with Venus in Cancer.
Cancer is here to nurture, to love and to help you dive deeper into your emotions- although be careful because when feeling unsafe it can retreat and become cold and retreat back into its shell (crab).
Venus represents the drive inward in the solar system but also internally within (as above so below).
Venus gives us our inner values and draws us into our experiences to grow and expand.
Venus in true harmony aligns our needs and inner values, but when misaligned can bring insecurity, unrealistic demands, vanity and narcissism.
Venus in Cancer is concerned with growth and expansion around fertility, reproduction, family, love, affection, devotion, loyalty, nurturing, commitment and building long term partnership and relationships.
There is a desire with this energy to come into union, peace and understanding as it knows that in order to move and grow in this world there must be a balance of the head and the heart (the masculine is the head- the feminine is the heart).
You can enjoy more luxury, comfort and art while the watery sign helps us to move though our emotions and remind us what truly matters.
She knows that anything she touches multiplies and does it with grace, divinity and charm.
This energy helps us to explore and open our hearts, dive deeper into our emotions and release the need for control as the energy of Cancer harmonizes and brings order.
Take the lessons you learned while Venus was in Gemini and allow them to guide you to open your heart, show affection + love and break through those limiting spaces within your heart and your relationships.
Cancer teaches you how to flow but most of all where we block ourselves from love from others and within ourselves.
Take a chance and allow yourself to love deeply in all that you do, after all that is where the real work is.
Get out of the shallow end.
